Ingredients for Cornstarch Chocolate Pudding

  • 3 cups milk, scalded
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1½ squares chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate with a little water.
  2. Mix in the sugar.
  3. Add gradually the scalded milk.
  4. Dilute the cornstarch with a little cold water.
  5. Boil the chocolate, milk and sugar together.
  6. While boiling, add gradually the cornstarch.
  7. Stir constantly to prevent scorching.
  8. Let boil for about 1 minute.
  9. Add the vanilla extract.
  10. Then pour into cups or glasses.
  11. Chill and serve.
