Cornstarch Blanc Mange Recipe

Ingredients for Cornstarch Blanc Mange

  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch, diluted with a little cold water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and cornstarch together.
  2. Beat well.
  3. Pour in the milk gradually.
  4. Place mixture on fire and allow to boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Fill champagne glasses with the blanc mange and let cool.
