Ingredients for Cornmeal Mush Recipe

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Moisten the cornmeal with the cold water and pour into the boiling salted water.
  2. Stir constantly until the mixture is set and thickened.
  3. Cook in a double boiler three to four hours.
