Ingredients for Corned Beef Hash Recipe 2
- 2 cups chopped corned beef
- 2 cups diced cooked potatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup milk or water
- 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions
- Combine beef and potatoes; season with salt and pepper.
- Pour milk into a frying pan with 1 tbs. of the butter; add beef and potato mixture, spreading it evenly; add remaining butter, cut in pieces, on the top.
- Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
- A rich thick crust should form on bottom.
- Do not stir the hash.
- Fold it as an omelet is folded and place it on a warm platter.
- This slow process of heating the hash gives it a flavor that cannot be obtained by hurried cooking.
