Ingredients for Cornbread Recipe 2

• 1 cup cornmeal
• 2 tablespoons melted vegetable shortening
• 1 cup flour
• ½ cup sugar
• 1 cup sour cream
• 2 eggs
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Mix cornmeal with flour, sugar, salt, vegetable shortening, eggs well beaten, and soda mixed with cream.
2. Mix well and pour into greased tin.
3. Bake at 375 degrees for thirty minutes.
4. Sufficient for one small pan of corn bread.
