Ingredients for Corn, Okra And Tomatoes Recipe

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 ears corn
  • 6 okra pods
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Okra and Tomatoes Recipe, Cut corn from cob, put into saucepan, cover with water and bring to boil.
  2. Scald and skin tomatoes and cut okra into cross sections half inch long.
  3. Add both to corn with vegetable shortening and seasonings.
  4. Stir and cook until tender.
  5. Serve hot.
