Ingredients for Confectioner's Chocolate Frosting

  • ¼ cup of granulated sugar
  • Confectioner's sugar to make a paste
  • ¼ cup of boiling water
  • 1 ounce of chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cook the granulated sugar and water about five minutes; add the chocolate and let stand till melted, then stir in the sugar and extract.
  2. Use while hot.
  3. If any be "left over," set aside, covered.
  4. When ready to use, add a little hot water and confectioner's sugar if necessary, and it is ready to use.
