Ingredients for Codfish With Celery And Carrots
- 2½ pounds codfish, cut in 4 pieces
- ½ stalk celery, washed, chopped fine
- 2 carrots, peeled, chopped fine
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cups water
- Seasonings to taste

Instructions
- Cook the celery and carrots together in the water with the seasonings and the butter for about 10 minutes.
- Put slices of codfish in a small baking pan.
- Pour over them the carrot and celery mixture.
- Bake in moderate oven for about 10 minutes.
- Then serve.
