Ingredients for Coconut Pie Recipe

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 1 teaspoon flavoring extract (vanilla or coconut)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs and add the salt and sugar.
  2. Add gradually the scalded milk, then the coconut and flavoring.
  3. Line pie plate with pie crust.
  4. Pour in the coconut-custard mixture.
  5. Bake in slow oven (275-325 degrees) for about 30 minutes.
