Ingredients for Coconut Pie Recipe
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups milk, scalded
- 1 teaspoon flavoring extract (vanilla or coconut)
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup grated coconut
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Beat the eggs and add the salt and sugar.
- Add gradually the scalded milk, then the coconut and flavoring.
- Line pie plate with pie crust.
- Pour in the coconut-custard mixture.
- Bake in slow oven (275-325 degrees) for about 30 minutes.
