Ingredients for Cocoanut Macaroons
- 3 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ pound prepared shredded cocoanut
- A few grains salt
Instructions
- Beat the whites.
- Beat in the sugar, adding it a little at a time; then beat very stiff.
- Stir in the cocoanut, and form into little balls the size of walnuts.
- Bake on an oiled pan in a slow oven till lightly browned.
