Coconut Macaroons Recipe 1

Ingredients for Cocoanut Macaroons

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ pound prepared shredded cocoanut
  • A few grains salt

Instructions

  1. Beat the whites.
  2. Beat in the sugar, adding it a little at a time; then beat very stiff.
  3. Stir in the cocoanut, and form into little balls the size of walnuts.
  4. Bake on an oiled pan in a slow oven till lightly browned.
