Coconut Chocolate Squares Recipe

Ingredients for Coconut Chocolate Squares

• 1½ cups sugar
• 2/3 cup cocoa
• ½ cup milk
• 4 tablespoons shredded coconut

Instructions

1. Boil the milk and mix the cocoa with it.
2. Add sugar.
3. Boil not too quickly to 236 degrees F.
4. Remove from fire.
5. Stir in the shredded coconut.
6. Beat until it begins to harden.
7. Pour into oiled or buttered (sweet butter) tin.
8. Cut in squares while warm.
