Instructions

  1. Boil one and one-half tablespoons of cocoa in one-half cup of water until smooth, glossy and thickened, then add two cups each of milk and water or one quart of milk.
  2. Heat but do not allow it to boil again and just before serving beat vigorously with an egg beater.
  3. This "millings" improves the texture and brings out the flavor.
