Ingredients for Clam Toast Recipe

  • 2 doz. small clams
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ½ cup scalded milk
  • 8 slices buttered toast
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Clean the clams and cut into small pieces; simmer a few minutes.
  2. Beat the egg yolks, add slowly to the scalded milk, combine with clams; add seasoning, pour over buttered toast on a hot platter.
