Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

Ingredients for Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

  • 1 cup butter, room temperature, divided
  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 3/4 cups smooth peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 premade 10-inch pie crust

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate together in a small saucepan but allow it to cool.
  2. Beat together 3/4 of the butter with the eggs, chocolate, and sugar for several minutes. The mixture should be thick.
  3. In another mixing bowl, mix the peanut butter with the remaining butter.
  4. Add heavy cream and continue beating.
  5. Pour chocolate into pie crust.
  6. Spoon peanut butter mixture on top of chocolate and blend it in with a spoon.
  7. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
