Ingredients for Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Recipe
- 1 cup butter, room temperature, divided
- 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3/4 cups smooth peanut butter
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 premade 10-inch pie crust
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate together in a small saucepan but allow it to cool.
- Beat together 3/4 of the butter with the eggs, chocolate, and sugar for several minutes. The mixture should be thick.
- In another mixing bowl, mix the peanut butter with the remaining butter.
- Add heavy cream and continue beating.
- Pour chocolate into pie crust.
- Spoon peanut butter mixture on top of chocolate and blend it in with a spoon.
- Refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
