Chocolate Mousse Cake Recipe

Ingredients for Chocolate Mousse Cake Recipe
- 1 package chocolate cake mix
- 1 can condensed milk, sweetened
- 2 squares baker's chocolate, unsweetened
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup whipped heavy cream
(Note: Additional ingredients for the cake mix will be necessary. Check box for ingredients)
Instructions
- Make cake per instructions on box. Bake according to package in two greased and floured 9-inch baking pans. Allow to cool.
- Melt chocolate squares and mix with milk.
- Slowly add the milk and pudding. Blend until smooth.
- Place chocolate mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- While stirring, fold in heavy cream and allow to chill again for 30 minutes.
- Top one layer of cooled chocolate cake with 1 1/2 cups of the mousse mixture.
- Place second cake layer on top of first and use the rest of the mousse as frosting.
