Ingredients for Chocolate Jelly Recipe

• 2 squares chocolate
• 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
• 2 cups boiling water
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 4 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup chopped walnut meats
• Whipped cream

Instructions

1. Break chocolate into small pieces and dissolve in boiling water.
2. Add vegetable shortening, salt, and cornstarch mixed with sugar. Stir and boil for eight minutes.
3. Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts.
4. Pour at once into wet mold.
5. When cool, turn out and serve with whipped cream.
