Chocolate Filling Recipe 1

Ingredients for Chocolate Filling

• 1-½ squares chocolate
• ¼ cup milk
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• ½ teaspoon butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

1. Melt the chocolate over hot water, in a double boiler; add the milk, and cook together, stirring until the mixture is thick and creamy.
2. Add sugar and beaten egg yolk, stir until smooth and cook five minutes.
3. Add the butter.
4. Beat well.
5. Remove from heat and add flavoring.
6. Cool before spreading on cake.
