Instructions

1. Follow the directions for Fudge Squares Recipe and bake in two layers.
2. Cool and put together with Chocolate Icing.
3. Recipe for Fudge Squares:
4. 1/2 cup corn oil
5. 2 squares chocolate, melted
6. 1 cup corn syrup, Red or Blue Label
7. 2 eggs, beaten
8. 1/2 cup sugar
9. 1/3 teaspoon vanilla
10. 1/3 cup milk
11. 1-1/2 cups bread flour
12. 2 tablespoons Argo or Kingsford's Cornstarch
13. 3 teaspoons baking powder
14. Few grains salt
15. Pour the corn oil and corn syrup into a mixing bowl.
16. Add the eggs, chocolate and vanilla.
17. Beat and fold in alternatively, the milk, and the dry ingredients.
18. Beat in the sugar and stir till the grain almost disappears.
19. Pour, one-half inch deep, into a medium-sized cake pan oiled with corn oil, and bake about thirty minutes in a moderate oven, 350 degrees F.
