Ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe
- 2 1/2 cups wide egg noodles
- 12 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 cups diced, cooked chicken meat
Instructions
- Fill a pot with water and prepare the noodles according to package directions.
- Combine chicken broth and seasonings in a pan and bring to a boil.
- Add vegetables and reduce to a simmer.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch and water. Stir together until dissolved.
- Slowly drop the cornstarch mixture into the broth in spoonfuls.
- Add chicken and noodles and warm throw.
- Serve immediately with crackers or bread for dipping.
