Ingredients for Cheese Fondue Recipe 2

  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt, pepper and red pepper
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Melt vegetable shortening, add flour, then milk gradually.
  2. Stir till they boil, cool a little, add cheese and yolks and seasonings.
  3. Fold in whites stiffly beaten.
  4. Pour into a vegetable shorteninged souffle tin.
  5. Bake 20 minutes in hot oven.
  6. Fold a napkin round and serve hot.
