Celery Cheese Toast Recipe

Ingredients for Celery Cheese Toast Recipe

• Make Celery Sauce variation of cream sauce
• 1 cup grated cheese
• ½ teaspoon table sauce (or ketchup)
• 1 egg yolk
• 2/3 cup cream

Instructions

1. Add grated cheese to sauce when celery is added
2. Stir until cheese is melted.
3. Add table sauce or ketchup;
4. Then add egg yolk and cream as above
5. Cook over hot water 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
6. Serve on Toast or crackers.
7. 1 egg white beaten stiff may be added just before serving.
