Cauliflower Sauce Recipe

Ingredients for Cauliflower Sauce

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 cup White Sauce III
  • 1 cup scalded milk
  • Cooked flowerets from a small cauliflower
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Put butter in saucepan, stir until melted and bubbling; add flour mixed with seasonings, and stir until thoroughly blended; then pour on gradually while stirring constantly the milk and stock, bring to the boiling-point and let boil two minutes.
  2. If a wire whisk is used, all the milk may be added at once.
  3. Add flowerets
