Ingredients for Caramel Ice Cream

  • 1 pint milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup flour (small)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 quart cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar burned in spider to a golden brown

Instructions

  1. Boil milk in double boiler, mix sugar, flour, and eggs together, add to the boiling milk.
  2. Return to stove and cook mixture twenty minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Add browned sugar to above mixture, set away to cool, and just before freezing add the cream.
