Ingredients for Cantaloupe Cream Soup
- 2 cantaloupes, peeled, seeded, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Seasonings to taste
- 6 cups thick white sauce
- (To make White Sauce: scald 1 pint of milk. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan. Add half a teaspoon of salt, 4 tablespoons of flour, and let cook for one minute, stirring constantly. Add the milk little by little, stirring gently until it boils. Let it boil for 3 minutes.)

Instructions
- Make the white sauce, then add cantaloupes, butter, and seasonings.
- Let it cook for about 20 minutes.
- Pass through large strainer.
- Then serve.
