Ingredients for Cake Pudding Recipe
- 6 slices plain cake (without filling or frosting)
- 2½ cups milk, scalded
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Beat the eggs with the sugar and add gradually the scalded milk.
- Mix well.
- Add the vanilla extract.
- Put cake slices in a pudding dish.
- Pour over them the liquid mixture.
- Set pudding dish in a pan of water.
- Bake in moderate oven for about 35 to 40 minutes.
