Ingredients for Cake Pudding Recipe

  • 6 slices plain cake (without filling or frosting)
  • 2½ cups milk, scalded
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs with the sugar and add gradually the scalded milk.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Add the vanilla extract.
  4. Put cake slices in a pudding dish.
  5. Pour over them the liquid mixture.
  6. Set pudding dish in a pan of water.
  7. Bake in moderate oven for about 35 to 40 minutes.
