Ingredients for Buttermilk Pie Recipe

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and slowly add in the sugars until well-incorporated.
  3. Mix in the butter, salt, flour, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Continue blending until creamy.
  4. Pour into pie shell.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes.
  6. Turn heat down to 325 degrees F and cook for 10 more minutes.
