Ingredients for Buttermilk Pie Recipe
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and slowly add in the sugars until well-incorporated.
- Mix in the butter, salt, flour, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Continue blending until creamy.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
- Turn heat down to 325 degrees F and cook for 10 more minutes.
