Burnt Sugar Cake Recipe 2

Ingredients for Burnt Sugar Cake

• ½ cup of butter
• Whites of 2 eggs
• 1 cup of sugar
• Frosting for Burnt Sugar Cake:
• Yolks of 3 eggs ¾ cup of sugar
• 2 cups of sifted flour
• 1/3 cup of water
• 2 level teaspoons of baking powder
• 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup
• 1 cup of cold water
• The white of 1 egg
• 3 teaspoons of caramel syrup
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Make both cake and frosting in the usual manner.
