Ingredients for Brown Sugar Buns Recipe

• 2 cups flour
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon shortening
• ½ cup milk
• 1 tablespoon butter, soft
• 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

1. Sift and mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. Rub the shortening thoroughly into the mixture.
3. Slowly add enough milk to make a soft dough.
4. Roll out on floured board to a thickness of 1/4 inch.
5. Spread butter over the dough.
6. Cover with the brown sugar.
7. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares and place on greased pan.
8. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes.
9. Remove from pan at once.
