Ingredients for Bread Dressing For Game Recipe

• 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
• 2 tablespoons melted butter
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• Dash of cayenne
• Dash of paprika
• 1 cup milk
• 2 slices of onion
• 1 blade of mace
• 1/2 bay leaf

Instructions

1. Mix butter and bread crumbs in a bowl. Season with salt, cayenne, and paprika.
2. Place milk in a double boiler with onion, mace and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, then immediately strain. Return to saucepan.
3. Mix in the bread crumb mixture and serve with small game, such as cornish game hens.
