Instructions

  1. Mix 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 of a teaspoon of pepper, and 1 small teaspoon of French mustard, with 3 teaspoons of melted butter or olive-oil.
  2. Beat 3 eggs until light, then add 1 cup of milk, stir well, then add the seasoning with the melted butter.
  3. When ready to cook add 2/3 of a cup of vinegar and place over boiling water.
  4. Stir until it thickens, then remove from the fire and set in a pan of cold water.
  5. Beat for two minutes.
  6. This will keep for several days.
