Ingredients for Boiled Corned Beef Recipe 1

  • 3-4 pounds of beef brisket
  • Cooked vegetables of choice

Instructions

  1. Rinse beef in cold water.
  2. Set beef in large Dutch oven and cover with cold water.
  3. Heat slowly to a boil; simmer until the meat is tender, about 6 hours.
  4. Remove beef from pot and let stand at least 10 minutes. Serve with vegetables of choice. Boiled turnips or cauliflower are great choices.
