Ingredients for Beets And Cabbage

• 6 beets
• 1 cabbage, washed, shredded
• 5 cups water
• 2 tablespoons butter
• Seasonings to taste

Instructions

1. Boil the beets in some water for about 10 minutes.
2. Remove the skin under cold water.
3. Slice the beets.
4. In a kettle put the 5 cups water, seasonings, butter, cabbage and beets.
5. Cover.
6. Cook for about 40 minutes.
7. Then serve.
