Ingredients for Bean And Celery Soup Recipe

  • One pint navy beans
  • Two stalks celery
  • One quart beef stock
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak navy beans for twenty-four hours, then simmer on low heat overnight (or all day).
  2. Chop celery finely and add to pot. Cook for 30 minutes.
  3. Press celery and beans through a colander.
  4. Heat beef stock, add the puree, and cook together for fifteen minutes, stirring constantly.
