Ingredients for Bass (striped) With Anchovies And Cheese

• 8 filets of striped bass
• ½ cup anchovy filets, chopped
• 2 cups water
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 1 onion, peeled, chopped fine
• ½ cup Swiss cheese, grated
• Seasonings to taste

Instructions

1. Put striped bass in a greased baking pan.
2. Mix the anchovy filets with the butter, onions, water and seasonings.
3. Pour over the fish.
4. Bake in moderate oven for about 15 minutes.
5. Then sprinkle the fish with the grated cheese.
6. Put back in the oven and cook until the cheese has melted.
7. Then serve.
