Bananas Foster Recipe

• 3 ripe bananas
• 1/4 cup butter
• 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
• 3 1/2 tablespoons rum
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
• 1 pint vanilla ice cream

1. Peel bananas and slice each one in half, then split the half into two long pieces.
2. Heat the butter in a large frying pan. When melted, add the sugar, rum, vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir to mix until it starts to bubble.
3. Add bananas and walnuts to pan. Cook for about 2 minutes.
4. Pour over ice cream and serve.
