Ingredients for Banana Nut Bread Recipe
- 3 to 5 ripe bananas
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Using a large fork, mash the bananas smooth.
- Combine the dry ingredients and sift them thoroughly.
- Add the bananas and eggs to the sifted ingredients and blend.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix together.
- Pour batter into a greased and floured 9-inch loaf pan and bake for 45-60 minutes.
