Ingredients for Banana Nut Bread Recipe

  • 3 to 5 ripe bananas
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Using a large fork, mash the bananas smooth.
  3. Combine the dry ingredients and sift them thoroughly.
  4. Add the bananas and eggs to the sifted ingredients and blend.
  5. Add remaining ingredients and mix together.
  6. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9-inch loaf pan and bake for 45-60 minutes.
