Ingredients for Baked Halibut
- 2 lbs. halibut
- 1 cup tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions
- Clean fish, season with salt and pepper, dredge with flour, place in vegetable shorteninged baking pan, pour over tomatoes, and dot with vegetable shortening.
- Bake in a moderate oven, basting often.
