Asparagus As Peas Recipe 2

Instructions

  1. Prepare the asparagus stalks as before, then cut them into half inch pieces.
  2. Cook in boiling, salted water to cover.
  3. Do not add water unless necessary to keep the vegetable from burning.
  4. When cooked add, for a pint, one-fourth a teaspoon of pepper, salt if needed and two or three tablespoons of butter.
