Applesauce Cake Recipe

Ingredients for Applesauce Cake Recipe

• 1/3 cup butter or shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1-½ cups thick sweetened apple sauce
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon soda
• Pinch of salt
• Spices to taste
• 1 cup raisins

Instructions

1. Cream butter or shortening and sugar together, then add the applesauce.
2. Mix and sift flour, soda and spices, then the raisins.
3. Mix well.
4. Bake in well-greased loaf pan at 380 degrees for about 45 minutes.
