Apple Sherbet Recipe

Instructions

1. Boil one quart of apples in a pint of water until soft.
2. Mash through a sieve.
3. Add the juice of one orange and one lemon, one-half pound sugar and a quart more of water.
4. Beat well and freeze.
5. When of the consistency of snow, add the beaten white of one egg and finish freezing.
