Ingredients for Apple And Cracker Pudding

  • 3 apples, pared, cored, cut in pieces
  • 2 cups cracker dust
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Boil the apples with the water for about 6 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar.
  3. Scald the milk and pour it over the cracker dust.
  4. Add slowly the beaten eggs, beating all the time.
  5. Mix in the apple puree.
  6. Place in a pudding dish and bake in moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
