Ingredients for All Fruits In Crust Recipe
Fruit Filling:
- 6 cups any large fresh fruits, peeled, cored, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon flavoring extract
Piecrust:
- 1 1/4 C flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 C shortening
- Cold water

Instructions
Piecrust:
- Sift flour and salt together.
- Add 1 teaspoon of sugar.
- Working quickly, with the tips of the fingers, blend shortening into the mixture.
- Use enough cold water to make the particles of the mixture adhere together.
- Turn on floured pastry board and roll, handling as little as possible.
- Line pie plate with piecrust.
- Bake for about 8 minutes at 350 degrees.
Adding Fruit:
- Mix fruit with complimentary flavoring extract, spoon evenly into crust.
- Sprinkle with sugar.
- Cut butter in small pieces and place on top.
- Bake for about 25 minutes.
- Serve cold.
