Ingredients for All Fruits In Crust Recipe

Fruit Filling:

  • 6 cups any large fresh fruits, peeled, cored, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon flavoring extract

Piecrust:

  • 1 1/4 C flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 C shortening
  • Cold water

Instructions

Piecrust:

  1. Sift flour and salt together.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar.
  3. Working quickly, with the tips of the fingers, blend shortening into the mixture.
  4. Use enough cold water to make the particles of the mixture adhere together.
  5. Turn on floured pastry board and roll, handling as little as possible.
  6. Line pie plate with piecrust.
  7. Bake for about 8 minutes at 350 degrees.

Adding Fruit:

  1. Mix fruit with complimentary flavoring extract, spoon evenly into crust.
  2. Sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Cut butter in small pieces and place on top.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes.
  5. Serve cold.
