- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ¾ cup almonds, shelled
Instructions
- Boil sugar, water and lemon juice together to 310 degrees F.
- Take off the fire and stir in the almonds.
- Pour into buttered tin.
- Break in large pieces with a quick jerk of a knife blade when entirely cool.
