Ingredients for Almond Milk Soup Recipe

  • 1/2 pound of almonds
  • 1 quart of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of butter rolled in a tablespoon of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Dash of cayenne
  • Croutons

Instructions

  1. Blanch almonds and brown in the oven; while crisp and hot, mash to a powder with a rolling pin.
  2. Scald milk and add butter rolled in flour, and the almonds.
  3. Cook five minutes.
  4. Add salt and cayenne and serve hot with croutons.
