Ingredients for A Late-summer Breakfast Dish Recipe
- 3 tomatoes
- 6 poached eggs
- 6 slices broiled bacon
Instructions
- Peel the tomatoes and cut out the hard piece around the stem end. Cut in half.
- Place in a well-oiled broiler and cook over low heat until hot throughout, turning often to avoid burning.
- Place on a serving dish.
- On top of each tomato, set a poached egg and add a slice of broiled bacon above or below the eggs.
- If preferred, the tomatoes may be cooked in the oven.
