Halloween Is Almost Here!

In case you were wondering, I love Halloween. This time if year is so much fun, and it’s all going on while the seasons are changing, the weather’s getting colder and the days are getting shorter.

It’s really a fabulous month, October. So much is going on. And as always, seasonal changed make me want to cook.

So what should you cook for Halloween? Why not try out a few gross recipes designed especially for this holiday? If you’re having a party, these are perfect for grossing out your friends (or your kids). How about a nice bowl of dirt? Or a severed hand? Wouldn’t your guests love some cat bard or a bursting zit? Oh come on - you know you want some.

If you’re not feeling the gross and gack-worthy, there are always Halloween cupcakes. You can decorate then however you like - frost them black and orange and top them with a scary treat! Just make sure that whatever you top them with is edible, or you might wind up spending your All Hallow’s Eve in the emergency room.
